Gravity separation overview
Gravity separation is also called gravity concentration. Gravity separator works with the gravity. This separator uses the different moving speed and direction of different materials in the materials, different density, granularity and shapes to separate ore materials. Gravity separator is also known as gravity separation equipment. And this series of gravity separators are widely used in processing ores like coal, non ferrous metal, rare metals and nonmetallic ores like asbestos and diamond. To improve the selecting ratio, SBM gravity separator usually works together with spiral chute, centrifuge and cyclone, etc.
Gravity separation Application
Gravity separator works within a certain medium or medium flow to separate ores with different granule size and specific density. SBM gravity concentration equipment mainly separates those mineral materials which the different of proportion between ores and veinstone is very large, such as wolfram, tin ore and gold ore. Gravity separation is the most widely used separation method of coal selecting.

2. The size of materials that can be processed ranges from hundreds mm to 0.02mm.
3. Less environmental pollution and easy to ecaporation.
But you should notice that the for coal materials with the size blow 0.5mm or ore with size below 0.1mm, it is really hard for any separation equipment to process with high efficiency or high capacity.
