Impact crushers
Impact crushers involve the use of impact rather than pressure to crush material. The material is contained within a cage, with openings on the bottom, end, or side of the desired size to allow pulverized material to escape. This type of crusher is usually used with soft and non-abrasive material such as coal, seeds, limestone, gypsum or soft metallic ores. There are two types of impact crushers: horizontal shaft impactor and vertical shaft impactor crushers.
Horizontal shaft impact crushers
The horizontal shaft impact crushers break rock by impacting the rock with hammers that fixed upon the outer edge of a spinning rotor. The practical use of HSI crushers is limited to soft materials and non abrasive materials, such as limestone, phosphate, gypsum, weathered shales.
Our horizontal shaft impacts, such as PF series and PFW series horizontal shaft impacts, they process a high tonnage of material, provide excellent control over particle shape and size, accepts nearly any kind of material—including recycle feed, and costs less to purchase.
Horizontal shaft impact crusher is the ideal machine for demolition contractors, quarry operators and recycling operations that require a very high throughput machine, capable of producing a high quality end product in wet and dry applications.
Horizontal shaft impact crushers operation and maintenance
Maximum crushing chamber accessibility is provided by the low pivot point of the crusher top shell, giving smooth operation and superior clearance space between fixed and pivoting frames. A self-locking frame tilts latch (with electric safety cut-out) and easily accessible rotor.
Locking device mounted to the main crusher support frame, ensures safe access to the interior of the crusher. The hammers can easily be vertically removed (a great benefit in confined spaces), using the special lifting tool and lifting beam provided. Curtain adjustment and frame opening are made easy with the electrically operated hydraulic system, maximizing crusher availability.
