Track Crushing and Screening Plants
Most mobile crushing and screening plants on tracks are imported. They use diesel powered are self propelled and can move short distances around a site very easily. Usually these track crushing and screening plants need to be modified in our workshop to make them suitable for harsh mining conditions.
Track mounted crushers would generally be the best option for outputs below 50,000 tonnes where frequent relocation of the crushing plant is necessary.
Mobile crushing and screening crushers on wheels and bases are less mobile and cranes or trucks are required to relocate them. Mobile crushing and screening plants are electrically powered by their own generating sets and are generally more reliable than track mounted counterparts.
As these plants are normally manufactured in Rapids workshop they are constructed to withstand Australia's harsh conditions.

But this extra set up cost can be more than offset over time cost efficiencies - higher volume of tones crushed at a reduced operating cost per tone.
